Film Producers and Distributors

In this task I looked at major and minor films production and distribution companies to find out who produces what type/genre of film and who I would want to produce my coming-of-age-film.

Learning Comment

From this piece of research I have learnt the difference between major and minor production companies and how their films differ. In know that production companies like Universal and Paramount produce big budget films like Avatar and Transformers (films with special effects and lots of extras). When I make my own coming-of-age film opening sequence, I will use an Art House film company to 'produce' my film, so my audience will know what sort of film it will be.
